The Cider Pays d’Auge AOC/AOP is a crafted product from family farms deeply rooted in the Normandy region. It is made from pure, unpasteurized, and non-carbonated juice, from apples grown in orchards within the designated AOC area; a rolling clay-silty terroir with a mild oceanic climate perfect for naturally sweet fruits. The slow fermentation, thanks to native yeasts, continues in the bottle with a natural sparkle development of at least six weeks, without any added gas.
The cider is characterized by its golden to orange color, its delicate aromas — fruity and buttery when young, becoming menthol and vegetal over time, and a very round taste, mildly acidic, balanced between sweetness and slight bitterness, with a refreshing natural effervescence.
